who are the campers?
camp tamakwa is the home to boys and girls ages 6-15 every summer. most of the campers are from canada and the united states. canadian campers are primarily from the toronto area, while campers from the us most often come from the detroit area. tamakwa is also home to campers from around the world, including mexico and israel.

Is my child too young to go to camp?
a special junior tamakwan (jt) program is offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. this program offers a shorter visit to camp, allowing the younger campers to get a feel for being away from home for the first time.

- August/Second Session: July 29 to August 23
- July 2 week JT session (*): July 1 to July 15
- August 2 week JT session (*): July 29 to August 12
